Another Snow Day!

We just got the call...tomorrow is ANOTHER snow day! It's official...an entire WEEK of snow days. The kids had a blast today playing in the snow. I don't think we've had this much in at least ten years. I'm glad we've finally had snow like I remember having when we were kids. After playing in the snow for a while, we came inside and warmed up with hot chocolate and popcorn.
Here are a few photos from our day.

If Johnny Cash played in the snow, I'm sure he'd be dressed like Nick...Nick's the "Kid in Black"
by the way, he LOVES this black stocking cap...he even wears it to BED sometimes.
Unfortunately, it collects dog hairs like a piece of duct tape, so Nick sometimes looks like he's wearing a beagle toupee.

Nick was thrilled at how low the fence between our house and the neighbor's has become with all this snow...he found he could 'somersault' over the fence and land head first in the snow.

Snowball fight! All that snow on Nick's hat is from the gynormous snowball with which Gabby pelted him just before this shot.

My sweetie...all bundled up and ready to play.

Chillin' in the living room.

The snow is up to her HEAD!

Martin Luther King weekend at the cabin

We spent MLK weekend at Anne's family cabin again this year. As usual, we had a ton of fun with some fabulous people! Can't wait for next year! I am posting alllll the photos here so everyone can see (easier than attaching them all to an email!)
